Hindi saklaw ng ipinatutupad na travel ban sa bansa sa mga biyaherong galing sa India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, United Arab Emirates at Oman ang mga Pilipino na nasa repatriation program ng pamahalaan, ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque noong Linggo.
Matatandaang pinalawig pa ng pamahalaan ang travel ban hanggang sa June 30.
Saad pa ni Roque, "Let it be clear, however, that Filipinos covered by the repatriation programs of the government and repatriation activities of manning/recruitment agencies cleared by the Bureau of Quarantine are not prohibited from entering the Philippines.”
Samantala, nilinaw din ni Roque na sasailalim sa COVID-19 testing at quarantine protocols ang mga pauuwiing Pilipino.
Aniya, “They can enter the country, subject to testing and quarantine protocols.”
