Umiskor sina Jericho Cruz at CJ Perez tig isang tres nagdala sa SMB kunin ang korona.
Napasaklap ang pagkatalo ng Magnolia na dinomina ang laro pero bumigay sa huli sa lungkot ni coach Chito Victolero.
Umiskor si Perez ng 28 points at Cruz ng 14 points. Ang kanilang tres ang nagdala sa SMB sa podium.
Double celebration ang natamo ng SMB matapos hirangin si CJ Perez best player of the conference.
Sinira ng Magnolia ang 33-all sa shot ni Andy Marc Barroca on the way to 51-46 halftime lead sa pinagsanib puwersa nina Paul Lee, Ian Sangalang, at Jio Jalalon.
Lumamang ang Magnolia ng 13 points, 67-54, sa shot ni Calvin Abueva on the way 82-73 third quarter lead.
Subalit nabigo ang Hotshots masustain ang kanilang opensiba at bumigay sa huli at nabigo si Chito Victolero na kunin ang pangalawang korona na nanalo sa 2016 Governor’s Cup nang talunin ang Alaska
