Nagpahayag ng pakikiramay ang Malacañang sa pagpanaw ni Prince Philip ng Britanya na asawa ni Queen Elizabeth II noong Biyernes.
Pahayag ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, "On behalf of the Filipino people, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte extends his deep condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the passing of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
"The Philippines and the United Kingdom have strong bilateral ties and we share the grief of the British people in this period of bereavement.
"We pray for the eternal repose of his soul and for The Royal Family to find strength in this time of mourning.”
Maging ang iba pang world leaders ay nagpaabot din ng pakikiramay sa pagpanaw ng 99-anyos na si Prince Philip.
Pahayag ni British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, “We give thanks, as a nation and a kingdom, for the extraordinary life and work of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.”
Saad naman ni US President Joe Biden, “From his service during World War II, to his 73 years alongside the Queen, and his entire life in the public eye — Prince Philip gladly dedicated himself to the people of the UK, the Commonwealth, and to his family.”
Ikinalungkot din ni Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin ang pagpanaw ni Prince Philip at aniya pa, “Our thoughts and prayers are with Queen Elizabeth and the people of the United Kingdom.”
Ipinag-utos naman ni Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison na ilagay sa half-mast ang kanilang mga bandila bilang pakikidalamhati sa pagkawala ni Prince Philip.
Aniya pa, “The Commonwealth family joins together in sorrow and thanksgiving for the loss and life of Prince Philip.”
Pahayag naman nina King Philippe at Queen Mathilde ng Belgium, “We wish to express our sincere condolences to Her Majesty the Queen, the British Royal Family, as well as to the people of the United Kingdom.”
