Nag-crash ang Facebook, Instagram at Messenger apps kaninang alas-9 ng umaga at mas naapektuhan ang bansang UK at Europe at hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin alam ang dahilan kung bakit nangyari ito. Ayon sa Down Detector, 80 porsiyento ang hindi nakatatanggap ng mensahe at 20 porsiyento ang hindi makapag-log-in.


Nagbigay naman ng pahayag ang Facebook tungkol sa nangyari at nagsusumikap na maibalik na sa dati ang mga nasabing apps.


“We are aware that some people are having trouble sending messages on Messenger, Instagram and Workplace Chat. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible,” sabi ng company spokesperson ng Facebook.


Nagsampa naman ng kaso ang U.S. Federal Trade Commission laban sa Facebook nitong Miyerkules na nagsasabing gumamit ito ng strategy na “buy or bury” para maalis ang mga kakumpitensiya nito.
