'Di na rin kailangang i-quarantine… Turista, oks na kahit walang COVID testing

Inaprubahan na ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) ang uniform travel protocols, ayon sa Malacañang ngayong Sabado.

Sa ilalim ng uniform travel protocols for land, air and sea ng Resolution No. 101, nakasaad na hindi na kailangang sumailalim ng mga turista sa COVID-19 testing maliban na lamang kung ire-require ng local government unit (LGU) ng lugar na kanilang pupuntahan.

Hindi na rin umano kailangang sumailalim sa quarantine ng mga turista maliban kung may sintomas ng COVID-19.

Mababasa sa Resolution No. 101 na “The IATF approves the uniform travel protocols for land, air, and sea of the Department of the Interior and Local Government.”

Saad din dito, “Testing shall not be mandatory for traveler except if the LGU of destination (province with respect to their municipalities and component cities, and highly urbanized cities [HUCs] and independent component cities [ICCs]) will require testing as a requirement prior to travel, and such shall be limited to RT-PCR.

“No traveler shall be required to undergo quarantine unless they exhibit symptoms upon arrival at the LGU of destination.”

Mag-mask kahit sa loob ng sasakyan — Palasyo

Pinanindigan ng pamahalaan ang itinakdang polisiya na kailangang nakasuot ng face mask ang lahat ng nasa loob ng sasakyan kahit pa magkasama sa bahay o hindi ang nakasakay dito.

Sa isang joint statement, ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr) at sa Department of Health (DOH), dapat na sundin at ipatupad ang sumusunod na guidelines sa pagsusuot ng face mask sa loob ng sasakyan:

• Kung mag-isa lamang bumibiyahe, maaaring tanggalin ng driver ang kanyang face mask.

• Kung ang driver ay may kasamang pasahero o mga pasahero, mandatory na lahat ng indibidwal na nasa loob ng sasakyan ay maayos na nakasuot ng face mask, kahit pa magkasama sa isang bahay ang nakasakay dito.

Ang polisiya ay alinsunod sa naging desisyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

Sa isang Viber message naman ni DOTr Assistant Secretary Goddess Libiran, sinabi nitong ang mga policy-makers ang siyang magpapaliwanag kung paano maayos na ipatutupad ang policy at kung ano ang mga fines and penalties na ipapatupad sa mga pasaway.

Nakapaloob sa joint statement ng DOH-DOTr na ang hakbang ay nabuo sa koordinasyon at pagtutulungan sa pagitan ng Land Transportation Office (LTO), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Inter-Agency Council for Traffic (IACT), Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG), iba pang law enforcement agencies, at local government traffic offices/units, na ayon pa sa statement, “Concerning the proper implementation of the Resolution, and the imposition of appropriate fines and penalties for violations thereof, in accordance with existing laws, rules and regulations.”

Workshops, trainings, seminars, puwede na

Maaari na muling magsagawa ng workshops, trainings, seminars, atbp. aktibidad sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng general community quarantine (GCQ) kabilang na ang Metro Manila, sa 30% capacity.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, napagkasunduan umano ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) na bukod sa workshops, trainings at seminars, papayagan na ring makapagsagawa ng “congresses, conferences, board meetings, colloquia, conclaves, symposia, and consumer trade shows.”

Saad ni Roque, "The above mentioned events must be held in venues in areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) and will be permitted up to 30% venue capacity." Nakikipag-ugnayan na rin umano ang IATF sa Department of Tourism (DOT) at Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) upang maglabas ng guidelines para rito.

Bukod sa Metro Manila, isinailalim din sa GCQ ang Batangas, Iloilo City, Tacloban City, Lanao del Sur, Iligan at Davao City, at modified GCQ naman sa iba pang lugar sa bansa.
