Pinauwi ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang 150 overseas Filipinos na apektado ng COVID-19 pandemic sa Bangladesh, ayon sa ahensiya.
Noong June 15, dumating sa Davao International Airport ang mga naturang Pinoy.
Saad ni Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Sarah Lou Arriola, "Following the instruction by President Duterte and as recommended by Secretary Locsin, the DFA is providing financial assistance meant to alleviate their anxieties and help them start anew here in our country.”
Samantala, ayon sa DFA, bibigyan ang mga napauwing Pinoy ng libreng swab test at libreng pananatili sa quarantine facility, gayundin ng P10,000 reintegration assistance.
