Higit P15-M ecstasy, buking dahil sa x-ray result

Nasabat ng awtoridad ang mahigit P15-million halaga ng hinihinalang ecstasy tablets sa Central Post Office, Quezon City noong Martes nang hapon.

Sa pagtutulungan ng Bureau of Customs NAIA, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), at NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG), nakumpiska ang 9,243 ecstasy tablets o party drugs na nakalagay sa tatlong parcels na may label na “baby clothes,” “handbag and shoes,” at “clothes”.

Inaresto ng awtoridad ang claimant ng naturang parcel na sina Michael De Guzman at Rowena Canapit. Si Canapit ay authorized representative ng consignee na si Glory Joy Buzeta.

Ayon sa record, sina Agner Buzeta at Victor Martis ang nag-ship ng mga produkto mula sa Netherlands.

Nadiskubre ang ecstasy tablets dahil sa kahina-hinalang resulta ng x-ray sa mga parcels kung kaya’t nagsagawa ng 100% physical examination ang awtoridad.

Pahayag naman ng Bureau of Customs (BOC), “The said discovery and seizure of illegal drugs were promptly coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for the conduct of controlled delivery operation against the consignee and other responsible individuals for possible prosecution for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 in relation to Section 1401 of the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.”

P3-M ecstasy at marijuana, nasabat sa Pasay

Nasabat ng Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ang tinatayang aabot sa P3 milyong halaga ng ecstasy at kush marijuana ngayong Martes sa ilang warehouses sa Pasay City.

Sa tulong ng BOC Customs Anti-illegal Drugs Task Force (CAIDTF), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), at NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG), nasabat ang 1,681 tablets ng ecstasy na tinatayang nagkakahalagang P2,857,700 na ayon sa awtoridad, “Found concealed inside a microwave oven.”

Aabot naman sa halagang P159,600 ang nasabat na 133 grams ng kush marijuana na natagpuan sa loob ng isang metal toy box.

Ayon pa sa BOC, “In sum, the seized ecstasy and marijuana have an aggregate value of P3,017,300.”

Sa tala ng Customs, napag-alaman na mula sa Netherlands ang ecstasy at ang recipient ay taga-Quezon City, habang ang kush marijuana naman ay mula sa USA na ang recipient ay naka-address sa Pasay City.

Nai-turn-over na sa PDEA ang mga naturang parcels upang makapagsagawa ng case profiling at posible rin umanong sampahan ng kasong paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (Republic Act 9165) in relation to Section 119 (restricted importation) at Section 1401 (unlawful importation) ng Republic Act 10863 o ang Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA) ang mga sangkot sa insidente.

Liquid marijuana, nasabat ng BOC-NAIA

Animnapu't dalawang vape juice cartridges na naglalaman ng liquid marijuana ang nasabat ng Bureau of Customs-Ninoy Aquino International Airport BOC-NAIA mula sa unclaimed parcels sa Central Mail Exchange Center noong Agosto 22.

Ayon sa Customs ngayong Martes, ang naturang vape package ay mula sa nagngangalang Roger Bowman ng Amsterdam, Netherlands at misdeclared diumano bilang “food flavorings.”

Sa isinagawang field test ng Customs Anti-Illegal Drug Task Force at ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), nakumpirma na ang mga naturang vape juices ay may tetrahydrocannabinol at cannabidiol na parehong compounds na taglay ng marijuana.

Nai-turn over na ang naturang package sa PDEA upang maimbestigahan.
